I'm not a family man, Riker, and yet, Starfleet has given me a ship with children aboard... I don't feel comfortable with children. - Jean Luc Picard, Encounter at Farpoint

Stemming from this quote in episode one, and continuing on via other several choice bits of dialogue and suspect encounters between Captain Picard and Wesley Crusher (the boy?), Adam and Ben have been skillfully mounting a plausible theory regarding Picard's potential pedophilia tendencies, notably towards young Wesley Crusher. Jokes involving gimp masks and secret slave dens are common.

Mention of "the boy" usually leads to a series of Wesley-related quotes from Capt. Picard, Worf, and Dr. Crusher, all played over the infamous, haunting saxophone riff of Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street".

This is the running joke that either makes or breaks a potential Greatest Generation viewer. There's no going back from here.

Ben and Adam have received over the course of the pod several rebukes regarding some viewers' perception that the pod is making light of sexual abuse and/or pedophelia, thus painting the fellows as insecure assholes using victimization as a cheap comedy plot, but come on, man.
